Support teams on and offshore to help build applications that can support the development of workflows

Day to Day:
You will be working with teams building applications using billions of records of retail and healthcare data and help lead teams to deliver outcomes for your partners.
You will help support three areas with colleagues as well as work on some as an individual contributor. There will be no direct reports as the team is a mix of contractors and full-time colleagues.
DevSecOps & Security Automation
β’ Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
β’ Integrate security scanning (SAST, SCA, DAST, container scanning) into build and deployment workflows.
β’ Automate cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
β’ Enforce security baselines, secrets management, and identity/access controls across cloud platforms.
β’ Monitor vulnerabilities, remediate findings, and collaborate with security teams on compliance requirements
β’ Build guardrails for secure containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
Cloud Cost Reporting & FinOps
β’ Develop and maintain cloud cost dashboards and automated reporting (Azure Cost Management, Tableau).
β’ Analyze cost trends, identify anomalies, and recommend optimization strategies .
β’ Partner with engineering teams to embed cost awareness into design and deployment decisions.
β’ Implement tagging standards and cost allocation models across multi cloud environments.
β’ Support budgeting, forecasting, and show back/chargeback processes.
β’ Provide monthly and quarterly cost insights to leadership and finance teams.
Snowflake Administration
β’ Manage Snowflake accounts, warehouses, roles, and resource monitors.
β’ Optimize warehouse sizing, auto suspend/auto resume, and query performance.
β’ Implement RBAC, data masking, and security policies within Snowflake.
β’ Oversee data ingestion pipelines (Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, external stages).
β’ Monitor storage usage, compute consumption, and cost drivers within Snowflake.
β’ Support schema design, database lifecycle management, and integration with BI tools.
β’ Troubleshoot performance issues and collaborate with data engineering teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
β’ Strong experience with CI/CD tooling and DevSecOps practices.
β’ Proficiency with Terraform or other IaC frameworks.
β’ Hands on experience with Azure/GCP security and automation.
β’ Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes.
β’ Expertise in Snowflake administration, SQL, and data warehouse operations.
β’ Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and FinOps principles.
β’ Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
β’ Understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security architecture.
Education:
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning (STEM field) or related discipline
β’ Masterβs degree preferred
