Role description
As a Data Engineer, you will join the R&D Technology team supporting a Fortune 50 Consumer Health company. You will help support an advanced analytics team building a modern, scalable data platform to unlock insights across product development. As a Data Engineer you will play a foundational role in turning siloed, unstructured R&D data into trusted, business-ready datasets that fuel analytics, dashboards, and future AI/ML use cases
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
β’ 1-2 yearsβ experience working with larger enterprise-level datasets
β’ Python & SQL for data engineering & transformation
β’ Experience working in Databricks
β’ Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
β’ Experience curating datasets from multiple data sources
β’ Technically curious β enjoys experimenting and learning new tools
NICE TO HAVE
β’ Exposure to AI / ML pipelines or data prep for models
β’ Experience supporting Power BI or other data visualization tools
RESPONSIBILITIES
β’ Partner with Advanced Analyticsβ team to help them be more efficient for the future
β’ Help tune and query R&D information from the businessβ data requests
β’ Help assist in the Business Intelligence rationalization thinking and analysis
β’ Independently provide analysis, feedback, ideas to achieve desired results
β’ Support data discovery, contextualizing unstructured data, and creating visualizations to showcase insights
