6x Contract Data Engineer - Financial Services
Fully Remote (UK) | 💷 £650-£700 per day | Inside IR35
6 month initial contract
1 day per week in London or Edinburgh office
AI Connect are proud to have partnered with a leading financial services organisation who are scaling a suite of new data products to enhance customer experience. You will contribute to the development of these products across the department and support with large-scale ingestion of multiple data sources.
The Role
You’ll be building and optimising data pipelines from various sources, and landing the data in Snowflake, using modern orchestration and scripting tools. This is a fast-moving environment where strong hands-on skills are key.
Key Skills
• Snowflake - advanced expertise required
• Airflow (or similar orchestration tools e.g. Composer, Dagster, Informatica)
• SQL - strong ETL/ELT experience
• Python - used across the product suite, especially for pipeline automation and orchestration
What We’re Looking For
• Proven track record as a Data Engineer in complex environments
• Ability to deliver within a regulated financial services setting
• Strong communicator and problem solver
