Data Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer. Responsibilities: • The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and reporting solutions using Power BI and Snowflake • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and product owners to deliver business value through data • Perform data modeling, data analysis, and data transformation in a data warehouse environment • Ensure QA readiness of deliverables through unit testing, automation, and end-to-end validation • Participate in application-level architecture and contribute to technical decision-making • The Data Engineer will support the implementation of data initiatives and enhancements across multiple project phases • Develop and maintain technical documentation and contribute to departmental standards Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data analysis • Extensive experience with Power BI and Snowflake • Strong SQL skills and experience working in data warehouse environments • Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL and reporting tools such as OBIEE or OAS • Experience with AWS, Airflow, and Python is preferred • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in an Agile setting The Value You Deliver • Deliver consistent, high-quality data solutions that support business decision-making • Drive innovation through original and creative technical solutions • Contribute to the long-term vision of a scalable and efficient analytics platform • Ensure precision and quality in software development practices • Support cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing • Help shape technical policies and procedures within the data engineering team The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
