Role description
Job Title: Senior Data Engineer – Regulatory Reporting Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Experience: 10–14 years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in regulatory reporting and data pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills in database development, ETL processes, and modern data platforms, along with exposure to financial regulatory reporting frameworks. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows • Work extensively with Oracle SQL/PLSQL for data extraction, transformation, and reporting • Develop and optimize data solutions using Python and Snowflake • Manage and support data processing in Unix/Linux environments • Collaborate with business and regulatory teams to deliver accurate reporting solutions • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements • Support enhancements and maintenance of existing reporting systems. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL • Proficiency in Python, Snowflake, and Unix/Linux • Extensive experience in ETL development and data pipeline architecture • Solid understanding of data engineering best practices Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SEC 15c3 reporting and FOCUS reports • Familiarity with Axiom Regulatory Reporting • Exposure to BI tools such as Qlik or Sigma Computing
