Job description:
β’ 4+ years of data engineer experience
β’ Experience working in a product team environment to deliver major enterprise initiatives
β’ Technical Experience working with AWS architecture:
β’ EC2
β’ EMR
β’ Glue
β’ PostgreSQL
β’ RDS
β’ S3
β’ Proficiency with the following technologies:
β’ Apache Airflow orchestration
β’ DBT Cloud
β’ Python
β’ Snowflake data warehousing
β’ SQL coding
β’ Experience working in Agile development cycles and using supporting tools like Jira, Confluence, Align or similar
β’ Preferred to have prior experience working on or interfacing with Salesforce.com solutions and development teams
β’ Preferred to have medical device, life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience
β’ Experience developing large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses reporting needs.
β’ ETL processes, designs database systems and develops tools for real-time analytic processing.
β’ Develop and maintain optimal data pipelines into the unified data platform, including design of data flows, procedures, and schedules. Ensures that optimal data pipelines are scalable, repeatable, and secure.
β’ Troubleshoot software and processes for data consistency and integrity.
β’ Integrate data from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards.
β’ Document configuration, development, and testing activities
β’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization.
