Role description
Iβm working on an urgent requirement for a Lead Data Engineer (Datastage & Oracle) supporting a major Risk Data Warehouse programme, and your background looked potentially relevant.
Rate is circa 600 per day inside IR35
Hybrid - 2/3 days a week on-site Edinburgh
The client is aiming to onboard before the end of the month, so theyβre looking to move quickly with suitable profiles.
Key responsibilities include:
β’ Leading ETL architecture and engineering decisions
β’ End-to-end RDW data flow design, build, and validation
β’ Supporting regulatory initiatives including Basel 3.1, Murex migration, SA CCR, and Credit Risk migrations
β’ Production stability, incident management, and root cause analysis
β’ Cross-functional coordination with engineering and risk stakeholders
Key requirements:
β’ Strong enterprise data warehouse experience within the Risk domain
β’ Proven delivery across regulatory reporting/data environments
β’ Deep understanding of data lineage and controls
β’ Experience integrating risk data into trading/risk platforms
β’ Strong IBM Datastage and Oracle expertise (essential)
