Role description
Data Engineer – Power Platform & BigQuery
Location: Saint Louis, MO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months (w2 only)
We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer who can bridge data engineering, analytics, and low-code app development across Microsoft Power Platform and cloud data environments.
If you enjoy building scalable data pipelines, designing dashboards, and creating business apps that drive decisions—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using BigQuery and Microsoft Fabric
• Develop Power BI dashboards with strong data modeling and performance tuning
• Design and deploy Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) for business workflows
• Integrate data from REST APIs (OAuth, rate limiting, etc.)
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries & stored procedures
• Use Python or R for data processing and analytics workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, performance tuning)
• Hands-on with Power Apps & Power Platform
• Solid background in SQL + ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with BigQuery or similar (Snowflake/Redshift)
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (dataflows preferred)
• Experience integrating APIs (REST/OAuth)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
