Role description
Job Title: Data Engineer (SAS/Pentaho, Talend, Denodo/ETL/Devops) Location: Telford (2 days/week on-site ) Job Description: We are hiring a Data Engineer to support the Minerva Platform team in delivering the data ingestion and risking capability for the MMTAR programme. The role involves building scalable data pipelines and integration solutions to unify agent registration journeys across tax regimes, supporting HMRC’s modernization goals. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy data integration and transformation solutions using Pentaho, Talend, Denodo, and SAS. • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting analytics and BI platforms. • Work collaboratively within an Agile Scrum team, defining technical specifications and delivering sprint outcomes. • Apply DevOps practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and secure deployment. • Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are consistently applied. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and performance issues.
