Role description
Duration: 6+ months
Compensation: $75 - 85/hr W2
Location: 100% Remote
This is a heads-down coding role — you will spend the majority of your time working directly in Snowflake and DBT to create data products that drive measurable business value.
Responsibilities:
• Write production-quality code in Snowflake and DBT to build the recommendation engine and supporting data products.
• Interface with stakeholders to understand project requirements. Manage sprint tasks and deliver against a defined 6-8 month project timeline.
• Contribute to the creation of net-new feature sets and capabilities for the recommendation engine.
Requirements:
• 3-6 years of data engineering experience
• 3 - 6 years of hands-on Snowflake experience (including writing SQL and building data products in production environments)
• 3+ years of experience working with DBT
• 3+ years of Azure cloud experience
Preferred:
• Advanced SQL
• ETL/ELT processes
• Data modeling
• Python
• CI/CD
