Description Remote Our client, an industry leader in cybersecurity and threat intelligence, seeks a Lead Business Analyst / Quality Assurance professional to support a large-scale migration from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud for Jira and Confluence. This hands-on hybrid role spans Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, and integration collaboration. The role will drive requirements, validate integrations, lead testing efforts, and help ensure a seamless, high-quality migration. The position partners with platform and engineering teams for deep technical execution and covers the full delivery lifecycle from discovery and analysis through testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support. Rate: $68.00 to $75.00/hr. w2 JN -052026-107113 Responsibilities β€’ Lead discovery sessions to identify and document Jira and Confluence integrations including APIs, CI/CD tools, SSO, and marketplace apps. β€’ Perform integration impact analysis and identify risks for migration from Data Center to Cloud. β€’ Partner with engineering and platform teams on integration strategy and reconnection plans. β€’ Document integration dependencies, workflows, and business requirements. β€’ Develop artifacts including integration inventories, process flows, and migration documentation. β€’ Define and execute a comprehensive testing strategy across functional, regression, integration, and UAT phases. β€’ Develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria aligned to business requirements. β€’ Validate integrations, workflows, and configurations post-migration. β€’ Lead UAT coordination including scheduling, execution tracking, and stakeholder sign-off. β€’ Facilitate defect triage sessions and drive issues through closure. β€’ Provide clear testing status updates and readiness recommendations. β€’ Support cutover and deployment planning including sequencing and risk mitigation. β€’ Collaborate with engineering, vendors, and platform teams during migration execution. β€’ Help ensure systems, integrations, and workflows function at go-live. β€’ Assist with rollback planning and contingency preparation. β€’ Support Hypercare planning and execution after go-live. β€’ Monitor integration performance, user issues, and system stability. β€’ Coordinate issue tracking, triage, and resolution during stabilization, and provide regular status reports. Experience Requirements β€’ 7+ years as a Business Analyst, QA, or hybrid BA/QA with lead-level responsibilities. β€’ Experience in Atlassian environments including Jira and Confluence. β€’ Exposure to Data Center to Cloud migrations or large-scale platform implementations. β€’ Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements. β€’ Experience leading or supporting UAT, testing strategy, and defect management. β€’ Ability to translate requirements into testable scenarios and validate outcomes. β€’ Solid understanding of QA processes, testing lifecycles, and best practices. β€’ Experience in integration-heavy environments such as APIs, SSO, and third-party tools. β€’ Ability to document and analyze integration dependencies and system interactions. β€’ Comfort partnering with technical teams on integration validation. β€’ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. β€’ Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively. β€’ Organized with attention to detail and comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. β€’ Nice to have: Atlassian certifications or administration experience. β€’ Nice to have: Experience with migration tools such as Jira/Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant. β€’ Nice to have: Familiarity with ServiceNow, GitHub, Jenkins, or Okta. β€’ Nice to have: Background in DevOps, ITSM, or enterprise SaaS environments.
