Job Title: Snowflake Data Platform Operations Engineer Location: Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week) Duration: 6–12 Months Contract Interview Process: Video Interview Job Summary • We are seeking a Snowflake Data Platform Operations Engineer to support and maintain enterprise Snowflake environments. This role combines platform engineering and operational support responsibilities, requiring strong troubleshooting capabilities, Snowflake administration expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability, security, and performance. • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Snowflake environments, managing IAM integrations, monitoring platform health, and participating in disaster recovery and operational readiness activities. Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in Snowflake Platform Operations, Support, or Administration. • Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, administration, and operational best practices. • Proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and operational support. • Basic scripting experience with Python and/or Bash. • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Snowsight. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools including GitLab, Bitbucket, and Jenkins. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. • Linux system administration experience. • Experience with batch scheduling tools such as AutoSys. • Basic AWS Infrastructure Administration experience (Azure or GCP experience is also acceptable). • Experience working with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • SnowPro Core Certification (preferred). • Additional Snowflake certifications are highly desirable. • Experience supporting Snowflake integrations with BI and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Looker, and QuickSight. • Exposure to Snowpark Container Services. • Experience with Snowpipe and streaming data pipelines. • Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI services. • Experience working with CMDB platforms such as CloudAware. • Financial services or enterprise-scale platform operations experience is a plus.
