Role description
Python / LLM Engineer – Contract or Permanent (UK Remote / Hybrid) IC Resources is working with a technology client who is looking for a Python Engineer with experience in LLMs and Generative AI to help develop and scale AI-driven features within a modern SaaS platform. This role focuses on building production-grade backend services and integrating LLM capabilities into real-world applications. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to design and deliver AI-powered features, including API development, microservices, and cloud-based inference workflows. Key Technical Requirements • Strong experience in Python backend development • Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or Generative AI tools • Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend/microservice architectures • Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks • Experience working in cloud environments with Docker and containerised deployments • Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced engineering environments Nice To Have • Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, or LLM fine-tuning • Exposure to distributed systems or scalable ML infrastructure • Experience building evaluation or inference pipelines for LLM applications For more information or to apply, please contact Jonathan Courtney at IC Resources.
