About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data integration, transformation, and analytics, with hands-on experience in Snowflake, Matillion, Databricks, and reporting tools. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable data pipelines and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Matillion and Databricks.
• Build and optimize data models in Snowflake for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance practices.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Ensure data security, compliance, and performance optimization across platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Snowflake data warehousing and performance tuning.
• Strong ETL/ELT development skills using Matillion.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering and transformation.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Solid understanding of cloud data architecture and data integration patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and tools.
