Job Role: Data Engineer (Strong SQL, Redshift, Python)
Location: Stamford, CT (4 days/week onsite)

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and backend systems for the new incentive analytics platform
Implement and optimize complex incentive calculation logic, performance metrics, and data models
Support database restructuring and redesign to improve scalability, data integrity, and performance
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes
Analyze and improve existing Alteryx workflows, transitioning them into more efficient, maintainable solutions
Collaborate with the Architect and Analysts to deliver standardized incentive models and advanced performance reporting
Support ongoing reporting needs while building toward the long-term web portal solution
Work in an AI-enhanced environment and contribute to automation initiatives (leveraging tools like Kiro)
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile setting
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, with strong focus on data pipelines and backend systems
Expert-level SQL skills, including complex query writing, performance tuning, and data modeling
Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, transformation, and automation
Experience with database design, optimization, and modernization projects
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT best practices and cloud data environments
Ability to work effectively in a highly agile, fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and multiple priorities
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business team members
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Alteryx or similar self-service analytics platforms
Background in telecommunications, cable industry, sales incentives, or commission-based systems
Experience working with AWS (S3, Redshift, or similar)
Familiarity with web application backend development or analytics platforms
Exposure to AI tools for data workflow automation
