Role description
Data Engineer - SSRS, SSIS - Asset Management
Excellent opportunity opens for an experienced Data Interface Engineer with deep knowledge of mortgage administration processes in the Asset Management domain. You will be instrumental in delivering a critical systems migration from one SaaS platform to another, ensuring that key mortgage investment operations and reporting capabilities are seamlessly maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Mortgage Administration Data Migration
• Work with data from the mortgage module to manage the full loan lifecycle - from origination, repayment scheduling, and early redemption (including break cost calculations) to security data maintenance, tenancy updates, and annual property valuations.
• Map, transform, and migrate selected data elements provided in CSV format into standard templates for load into the target SaaS system.
• Perform iterative migration cycles culminating in a final cutover of live data before parallel running.
Interface Development
• Rebuild batch-based interfaces between the target system and internal platforms, including Finance Ledger, BACS transfers, and reporting systems.
• Extract and format data from the target system's MS SQL database for downstream consumption.
Reporting
• Create custom SSRS reports to provide critical business data to end users, supporting functions such as investment reporting, loan and credit risk monitoring, and compliance reporting to the PRA.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of mortgage administration within an asset management environment.
• Experience in data migration projects, including mapping, transformation, and loading to SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in MS SQL, SSRS, and API development.
• Knowledge of operational, property, and risk data processes - including LTV calculations, capital-to-asset ratios, and covenant monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
