Location: Andover, Massachusetts (On-site with the possibility of up to 5 remote days per month)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: Up to $87/hour W-2 or up to $97/hour IC/1099. The conversion salary is up to $155k per year.

Summary of the Role:
A technical, hands-on Data Engineer is needed to design, develop, and maintain modern ETL pipelines. This is a "builder" role that requires the ability to create robust data pipelines from the ground up, with a focus on sourcing, transforming, and delivering data to targets like AWS Redshift. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform and will be responsible for building reusable, version-controlled integration components and optimizing existing workflows.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain modern data pipelines on the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform.
β’ Implement complex, reusable IDMC integration pipelines using modules like Mass Ingestion, Application Ingestion, and API-based integration.
β’ Develop high-quality ETL pipelines to source, transform, and deliver data into AWS Redshift and other targets.
β’ Write and manage reusable, version-controlled integration components.
β’ Optimize and refactor mappings and workflows for performance and efficiency.
β’ Perform root cause analysis on failed jobs and provide production support.
β’ Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
β’ Support data lifecycle management and deployment pipelines.
β’ Collaborate with the Data Services team to ensure integrated and reliable data solutions.
Required Experience:
β’ Minimum of 5+ years of data or ETL experience.
β’ Expertise in Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
β’ Strong proficiency in solutions design.
β’ Strong SQL and AWS Redshift familiarity.
β’ Expertise in engineering, optimizing, and troubleshooting ETL solutions.
β’ Experience with DevOps tools like Git and CI/CD.
β’ Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills:
β’ An insurance industry background is highly desirable.
