Job Description
As a Data Engineer, you’ll design, build, and optimize data solutions that enable smarter business decisions and advanced analytics.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines with Azure Data Factory (Data Fabric / Lakeflow) and Databricks.
• Design and manage Azure Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions (Synapse, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
• Apply best practices in data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, normalization, partitioning).
• Write and tune complex SQL queries for high performance across large datasets.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver self-service data products.
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Strong background in data warehousing and data modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills for analytics and optimization.
• Experience with Python for data processing (Scala/Java a plus).
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar).
• Experience working in Azure cloud environments.
Bonus Points
• Experience with dbt or other ELT frameworks.
• Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hubs).
• Knowledge of data governance tools (Azure Purview, Collibra, Atlas).
• Exposure to CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
