Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Databricks, Spark, Python, and Snowflake to design and build scalable data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of modern data architectures and big data ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Spark and Databricks • Collaborate with product and analytics teams using Agile/Scrum practices • Implement scalable data models and architecture for high-volume processing • Automate workflows and CI/CD processes • Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis Required Skills: • 5–10 years in software/data engineering (5+ years in Big Data) • Strong experience with Python, Spark, SQL, and Databricks • Familiar with Hadoop, Hive, Airflow, GitHub/Bitbucket • Exposure to AWS, Snowflake, and streaming tools (Kafka/Kinesis) • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills Nice to Have: Java | NoSQL (HBase/DynamoDB) | Terraform/CloudFormation | Jenkins/CircleCI About BrickRed Systems: BrickRed Systems is a global leader in next-generation technology, consulting, and business process service companies.
