Role description
Location / Remote: Hybrid Remote in Phoenix, AZ, 85007 (4 days/week onsite).
Employment Type: 3-month contract (W-2 or 1099/IC)
Pay rate: up to $63/hr

This role involves developing and maintaining data processing and analytical tools, with a focus on database development, process automation, and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, and data transformation processes, along with experience working with various data formats and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain data processing and analytical tools using Python and relevant libraries.
• Design and implement database solutions utilizing SQL Server, including T-SQL development.
• Work with various data formats such as HL7, XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI to support data transformation and mapping processes.
• Create and optimize data models and automate processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement solutions in cloud-based environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Ensure high-quality data processing by applying data modeling and transformation techniques.
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer in data processing or data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and T-SQL with proven experience in database development using SQL Server.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries for data processing and analytics.
• Experience working with various data formats such as HL7, XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI.
• Expertise in data modeling, data mapping, and data transformation processes.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing automated processes.
Preferred Skills:
• Understanding of data lifecycle management and data quality tools.
• Knowledge and experience with other RDBMS platforms.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based environments, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
