Data Engineer

Python/AWS Infrastructure Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid) Contract: 1 year++ Design, implement, and manage integration platform deployments on Amazon EKS. • Build and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform • Develop, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes configurations for integration workloads • Establish and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment • Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud solutions • Monitor system health and performance; identify and implement improvements • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and runtime issues • Document architecture, deployment patterns, operational procedures, and best practices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration and platform requirements Required Qualifications : • Expert knowledge of AWS services: o Amazon EKS o VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Network ACLs o IAM o EC2, Auto Scaling Groups o ELB/ALB o S3, EBS, EFS o CloudWatch o Route 53 o AWS Secrets Manager / Systems Manager o CloudFormation, AWS CLI o kubectl command • Advanced Terraform skills: o Writing modular, reusable code o State management and remote backends o Terraform workspaces and environments o AWS provider setup and best practices • Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration and architecture • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Helm charts) • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python • Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture • Experience with Git and version control workflows Preferred Qualifications • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) • Familiarity with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio)
