Pay Range: $70 - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, Develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.
β’ Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
β’ Implement and optimize data models to ensure efcient data storage and retrieval.
β’ Work with newer technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric to build scalable and robust data solutions.
β’ Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure data availability and reliability.
β’ Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and incorporate them into our data strategy.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
β’ Key Skills: Concepts around building data warehousing, data modeling.
β’ Must have strong data engineering skills. (SQL, data analysis, ETL, etc)
β’ ETL tool will be data factory but any is OK
β’ Azure cloud technology .
β’ Must have experience architecting, modeling, building and putting into production a data warehouse from POC to nish.
β’ Tools and tech are less important than overall experience.
β’ Microsoft Fabric (most likely what they will build on Experience is design patterns of a larger rm (but data is small here).
β’ Strong experience in data modeling and designing efcient data structures.
β’ Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
β’ Experience with SQL and other database technologies.
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
β’ Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related eld.
β’ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
β’ Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
β’ Knowledge of nance domain and related data requirements.
