As a Data Engineer (Manager Level), you’ll join a newly formed Data & Analytics team under the Chief Technology Officer, driving innovation and enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will shape the firm’s data infrastructure and unlock actionable insights for business leaders. 🔧 What You’ll Do • Design and build scalable data pipelines for integration, transformation, and delivery across the enterprise • Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and analysts to optimize data quality, governance, and performance • Integrate data from diverse sources (APIs, databases, warehouses, external systems) • Apply advanced data cleansing, enrichment, and validation techniques • Tune systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency • Own the value of data assets and analytics to drive strategic decisions and human augmentation 🎯 What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, MDM, BI, and governance • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Java, and C# • Hands-on experience with: • Microsoft stack: SQL Server, Synapse, CosmosDB, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Power BI, Fabric • Informatica cloud tools: CIH, DIH, CDGC, MDM, Data Quality • Snowflake and other modern data platforms • Exceptional communication skills—able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights • Strategic mindset with a bias for innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement 🌟 Bonus Points • Certifications in relevant technologies • Experience in professional services, accounting, or managed services environments • Client-facing or consultative background 📣 Why Join Grant Thornton?
