Data Engineer - W2 Only/ NO C2C

Must haves: SQL for querying analysis AWS will be built on cloud Python for development (batch, APIs for real time data) Strong in Snowflake Preferred to have: cockroachDB (distibuted db) API experience Strong data modeling skills doing either Dimensional or Data Vault models Other notes: This is going to be a pretty senior person, looking at least for 10 years of experience. The Expertise and Skills You Bring • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with 10+ years of experience • Advanced SQL/SnowSQL knowledge and experience working with snowflake database • Good experience in working with AWS (Batch, S3) • 1+ years of Python development • Hands-on experience on SQL query optimization and tuning to improve performance is desirable • Experience in job scheduling tools (Control M preferred) • Proven data analysis skills • Strong data modeling skills doing either Dimensional or Data Vault models • Good to have - Working experience with some or all of the following: AWS, Containerization, associated build and deployment CI/CD pipelines, Lambda development. • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker) • Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus • Proven track record to handle ambiguity and work in fast paced environment • Good interpersonal skills to work with multiple teams in the organization The Value You Deliver • Passion and intellectually curiosity to learn new technologies and business areas • Exploring new technology products and using them to help our business needs • Working on teams to improve efficiency • Delivering system automation
