Role - Data Engineer Rate:$55/hr w2 ony $125k – if converted full time- with some flex 6-12 month contract – possible full time conversion 100% remote- can be seated in any time zone but likely to work mostly est hours Client-Harbor Compliance- only share client name with interested parties Our client is seeking a Mid/Sr. Level Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain their critical data infrastructure. This role is a hands‑on Data Engineer supporting both day‑to‑day production needs and project‑based initiatives, with a strong emphasis on MySQL optimization, cloud databases, and data migrations. The position owns the development of scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and the administration of core analytical databases, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. Initial priorities center on integrating newly acquired customer data, requiring strong expertise in both data transformation and database administration. Required Skills: • 5+ years of experience with Azure MySQL Flexible Server, including hands-on administration in production environments • Deep, real-world MySQL expertise, with proven ability to optimize queries and schemas and troubleshoot complex production database issues • Proven experience administering, tuning, optimizing, and modernizing cloud-based MySQL environments • Strong proficiency in Python for data scripting, automation, and pipeline development • Proven experience designing, building, and deploying scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Azure Data Factory, integrating data from APIs, transactional databases, and flat files • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and tools, including Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue, or Fivetran Manvi Sharma Sr. Technical Recruiter https://www.linkedin.com/in/manvi-sharma-53b499201/
