Role description
β€’ Years experience – 5-6 years β€’ Location – San Jose Requirements: β€’ Strong ability to design, develop, test and maintain ETL solutions in Google Cloud Platform. Especially in BigQuery β€’ Strong knowledge in writing and interpreting complex SQL queries β€’ Experience in discovering raw information from different sources to create consistent, scalable architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for data analytics. β€’ Experience in handling cloud data ingress and egress including gcloud, gsutil and BQ utility commands β€’ Good analytical knowledge in understanding the business needs and translate to technical requirement β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. β€’ Experience in Hadoop, Spark / Hive, and scheduling -UC4 are plus β€’ Strong proficiency in LookML (views, explores, dashboards, persistent derived tables). β€’ Experience with Looker’s API and SDK for automation or embedding β€’ Ability to design clear, intuitive, and impactful dashboards, knowledge of visualization best practices and principles Compensation: $50-$60/hr
