We are currently sourcing for a "Data Engineer" to work in our client's location in Westlake Tx
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
In this role, it is critical that you have strong, hands on experience developing and managing both relational and dimensional data models, data warehouse/ lake concepts and environments, data ingestion/in motion (ETL/ELT), AWS, and BI reporting tools; This function also drives solutions that reflect a strong understanding of data governance concepts and a mindset toward data quality and controls when considering how data moves and is stored.
Additional skills for day-to-day activities:
• Direct experience with AWS, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL, PLSQL, Python, Java and Informatica
• Exposure to common business applications and process (ex: transaction processing, CRM, etc.) in a financial services environment
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data processes to answer questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to work with Power BI / Tableau / OBIEE reporting capabilities
• Familiarity with AI concepts and related data solutions a plus but not required.
