• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and error handling across pipelines
• Optimize performance and cost across Snowflake and Azure (query tuning, clustering, warehouse sizing)
• Apply security and governance best practices (Azure RBAC, Key Vault, networking, Snowflake roles/access controls)
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions
• Leverage CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for deployment, version control, and testing
• Monitor pipelines using Azure tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) and Snowflake performance insights
Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (advanced SQL, performance tuning, streams, tasks, stored procedures)
• Strong experience building production-grade data pipelines on Microsoft Azure (ADF required)
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or PowerShell)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Snowflake integration
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools in Azure and Snowflake
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Azure Functions
• Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines (feature engineering, model training datasets, inference pipelines)
• Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, or Azure OpenAI
