DATA ENGINEER 12 MONTHS FTC REMOTE OR HYBRID IN LONDON £65,000 + BENEFITS THE COMPANY This fast-growing beauty brand is transforming how millennials and Gen Z engage with cosmetics and skincare through personalized online experiences, exclusive loyalty programs, and a rapidly expanding UK presence. In this role, your work will directly power smarter business decisions by making data accessible and actionable across the digital landscape. THE ROLE As a Data Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in optimizing and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports digital sales, customer behavior analysis, and reporting. You’ll be critical to ensuring data is clean, usable, and delivered efficiently to analysts and business users. Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following: • Designing, building, and maintaining pipelines using Python, SQL, and Google BigQuery • Working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support a modernized data environment • Enhancing the existing data warehouse and migrating away from legacy systems • Collaborating closely with BI analysts to ensure accurate and timely data reporting • Supporting the digital side of the business—focusing on online transactions and customer engagement • Exposure to Power BI and Looker is a plus SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience: • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL • Strong experience working within GCP, especially BigQuery • Background in building and maintaining data pipelines and warehouses • Ability to clean, transform, and deliver data for reporting and analytics • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Experience with tools like Power BI or Looker (desirable, not essential) BENEFITS The successful Data Engineer will receive the following benefits: • Salary between £60,000 - £65,000, depending on experience • Fully remote working, with a £3,000 annual travel allowance if you prefer to work from the London office • 12-month fixed-term contract • Opportunity to work in a growing, customer-centric digital team • Collaborative, agile environment with a focus on innovation and inclusivity Please note: sponsorship is not available for this role.
