Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client in need of a Data Engineering Lead located in Boston, MA. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, implement, and manage modern data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, Apache Airflow, and Azure Data Pipelines β€’ Lead the migration and modernization of legacy ETL processes to scalable cloud-based architectures β€’ Integrate diverse data sources, including on-prem and cloud databases, APIs, XML feeds, and third-party systems β€’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient, well-architected data solutions β€’ Develop and maintain dimensional models and robust data transformation logic aligned with business definitions β€’ Lead a team of up to 4 offshore/Onshore developers: assign tasks, validate deliverables, and provide technical guidance and also on call support when required β€’ Maintain detailed technical documentation and contribute to architectural roadmaps Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field β€’ 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing environments β€’ Working knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and experience in transitioning ETL workloads from legacy tools Strong hands-on experience with: β€’ Snowflake (data modeling, optimization, performance tuning), DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation and data testing and Apache Airflow β€’ Azure Data Factory/Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI/CD and data integration The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
