Job: Data Engineer (Snaplogic)
Location: Smithfield RI – 2 weeks onsite per Month
Long term contract
ETL Engineering experience 8+ years
MUST HAVES
• Informatica
• Snaplogic
• Python
• Snowflake
• Oracle PLSQL to develop stored procedures
• Postgres
• AWS
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with 8+ years of experience
• Working knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica and Snaplogic) and Snowflake.
• Working Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
• 3-4 years’ recent experience in Python development
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and development of stored procedures
• Proven data analysis skills
• Experience in working with AWS
• Good to have - Working experience with some or all of the following: AWS, Containerization, associated build and deployment CI/CD pipelines, Lambda development.
• Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Stash, Ansible, Docker) is a plus
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus
• Financial Industry Experience is a must
• Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment
