Role description
Job Description: The Systems Engineering organization provides end-to-end detailed engineering, modeling, and analysis of wireless networks and assists other Engineering teams in the development, deployment, and troubleshooting of complex systems. An important aspect of our work is the development of data-driven models. β€’ We are looking for an individual who will work with our team on analyzing massive data collected in wireless networks. The successful candidate will have β€’ Experience in data driven modeling of LTE/5G systems, including Handover optimization, network simulator (eg ns3, OMNeT++, OPNET, etc) experience. Good understanding of LTE and 5G technologies and wireless network architecture. β€’ Experience with implementing positioning algorithms and map visualization. β€’ Experience with GCP, Big Query and distributed computing in Python/C/C++, Git/GitLab. β€’ Knowledge of LLMs, Retrieval Augmentation Generation (RAG) systems, Transformer architecture, CUDA, Deep Neural Networks and Reinforcement Learning. β€’ Keen interest in learning the latest AI/ML technologies and their applications to telecom. β€’ Interest in learning from reading industry publications, experimenting with open source software, and implementing new algorithms. β€’ Solid background in mathematics behind key ML algorithms and Optimization Methods. β€’ Ability to work within teams and to effectively communicate results to higher management. Even better if you have: β€’ Knowledge of mathematical optimization techniques, probability, and statistical methods. β€’ Experience in implementing python-based Web applications and data visualization. β€’ Experience in development of location based services. β€’ Experience with AWS, Stable Diffusion, GANs is a plus.
