Position Summary
We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of data governance practices across the organization. This role will help ensure data quality, security, consistency, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish effective data management standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor, assess, and improve data quality, integrity, and compliance across business functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data ownership, stewardship, and accountability frameworks.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to business and technical teams on data governance best practices.
• Track, analyze, and report on data governance metrics, initiatives, and improvement opportunities.
• Support data-related compliance efforts and ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with data governance tools, data management platforms, and related technologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide data governance initiatives.
• Familiarity with data quality management, metadata management, and data stewardship programs.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
