Job Title: Engineering Analyst II (Data Governance)
Location: Houston, TX (hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (with possible extensions)
Summary:
Seeking a Data Governance professional to support asset and pipeline data governance, data quality, and stewardship. This role partners with engineering, operations, systems, and compliance teams to align data practices with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement data governance and data quality best practices
• Define data ownership and stewardship
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and governance documentation
• Support compliance with industry standards (ISO, ISA, CFIHOS, PHMSA)
• Track and report governance metrics
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 4+ years of data governance/data management experience in the energy sector
• Familiarity with PHMSA and pipeline data practices
• Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred:
• Pipeline asset systems, GIS, SharePoint, Power BI, MDM experience
