Data Governance Analyst

IDR is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Albany, New York. This role supports a critical state government project related to healthcare and data management in the public sector. The position focuses on translating data governance strategies into actionable processes and ensuring compliance across the organization. Position Overview for the Data Governance Analyst: • Support the development, refinement, and socialization of data governance policies and procedures • Facilitate governance forums including agenda creation, meeting coordination, and decision documentation • Define and support metadata standards and master data management processes • Develop high-quality deliverables such as governance policies, SOPs, business glossaries, and training materials • Partner with leadership to operationalize governance strategies, focusing on execution and delivery Requirements for the Data Governance Analyst: • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline • Proven hands-on experience implementing data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes • Experience in healthcare or public sector environments, preferably with Medicaid programs • Ability to clearly articulate past work including specific contributions, approach taken, and measurable outcomes or impact • Strong writing and documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, structured, and polished deliverables What's in it for you? • Competitive compensation package • Full Benefits; Medical, Vision, Dental, and more! • Opportunity to get in with an industry leading organization.
