Role description
Data Governance Business Analyst
Remote (UK) with occasional client travel
Up to £500 per day (Outside IR35) - Fully remote working with occasional client visits
12-Month Contract
Must be available to start by 1st July
My client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a critical R&D Data Governance programme focused on validating and refining a new data governance model as part of an MVP build.
Key Responsibilities:
• Validate and assess Data Governance and Data Models within the R&D function
• Conduct detailed Process Mapping across existing and future-state processes
• Perform GAP Analysis to identify improvements and governance requirements
• Gather, document, and validate business and data requirements
• Support the development of an MVP through robust business analysis and stakeholder engagement
• Assess process impacts and contribute to automated impact assessment initiatives
• Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure governance frameworks are fit for purpose
Essential Experience:
• Strong Business Analysis experience within Data Governance programmes
• Proven track record delivering Process Mapping and GAP Analysis activities
• Experience validating business processes, requirements, and operating models
• Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience working on enterprise data transformation initiatives
Highly Desirable:
• Data Governance and/or Master Data Management (MDM) project experience
• Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry background
• Exposure to data platforms and governance tools such as Snowflake, Azure, and Collibra
• Experience supporting R&D data initiatives
