Role: Data Governance Engineer with MDM, Data Contracts & AWS Lakehouse Location: Remote Duration: 12+months Key Responsibilities • Create and maintain data contracts for Kafka topics, APIs, Iceberg tables, Snowflake datasets, and S3-based data products. • Define metadata standards, schema governance, lineage, SLAs, and data quality rules for Minerva data platforms. • Support governance and catalog integration using Atlan. • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Product, Governance, and Architecture teams across Minerva initiatives. • Support AWS Lakehouse technologies including: • AWS Glue • Amazon S3 • AWS Lake Formation • Confluent Platform • Apache Flink • Apache Iceberg • Snowflake Required Skills • Experience in metadata management, data governance, and data contract authoring. • Strong understanding of AWS Lakehouse and modern data platform architecture. • Experience with schema evolution, lineage, catalog management, and data quality frameworks. • Knowledge of JSON, Avro, Parquet, YAML, SQL, and streaming data platforms. • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Preferred Experience • Experience in enterprise data modernization or lakehouse migration programs. • Familiarity with Data Mesh and Data Product operating models. • Experience working with global delivery and cross-functional teams.
