Role: Data Governance Engineer Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite-Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Contract Required Skills and Qualifications β€’ 12+ years’ experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data governance β€’ 3+ years Hands-on production experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Purview components including Collections, Scanners, Metadata catalog, Classifications, Glossary, and Lineage β€’ Demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance existing Purview deployments by resolving scan, lineage, and metadata issues β€’ Experience developing automation using Microsoft Purview REST APIs and SDKs β€’ Experience with Purview Data Quality including profiling, rules, thresholds, and monitoring β€’ Experience with Purview Workflow for approval processes and governance automation β€’ Ability to build custom Fabric reports and dashboards using data from Microsoft Purview β€’ Ability to implement solutions that enable AIdriven insights and automation β€’ Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS data services β€’ Proficiency in Python
