Role description
We are seeking a technical Data Governance Specialist to join our Data Governance team in NYC. This role will help build and enhance trusted enterprise data capabilities across Databricks, CRM platforms, and downstream business systems.
What You'll Do:
• Build data quality controls, matching rules, survivorship logic, and automation workflows
• Use Python & SQL to investigate issues, validate data, and streamline processes
• Partner with business, architecture, and engineering teams on governed data solutions
• Support governance documentation, metrics, standards, and stewardship processes
• Improve mastered data across domains such as clients, entities, deals, and private markets
What We're Looking For:
• 3–6 years in Data Governance, MDM, Data Management, or Analytics Engineering
• Strong hands-on SQL and Python skills
• Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms preferred
• Exposure to MDM, entity matching, DealCloud, Salesforce, or financial services data a plus
