Position: Data Governance Specialist
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of extension or conversion)
Location: Richmond, VA/ Boston, MA/ New York, NY/ Philadelphia, PA/ Cleveland, OH/ Atlanta, GA/ Chicago, IL/ St. Louis, MO/ Minneapolis, MN/ Kansas City, MO/ Dallas, TX (Hybrid β 2- 3 days/Week Onsite)
Description: Essential Responsibilities:
β’ This is a hands-on role. Applicants should not be managers or architects.
β’ Provide primary technical support to end user community for problems related to software, data issues, data communication and processing errors.
β’ Monitor application, production and/or implementation support, both technical and user, for new releases.
β’ Consult on application testing strategies, document observations and coordinate responses.
β’ Maintain project and application information including schedule, system scope, requirements, and other pertinent documentation. Make recommendations to management regarding process improvements. Coordinate the information flow between business owners and development staff. Coordinate tasks, functional reviews and application development sessions between the development site and technical work groups ensuring steps are executed timely.
β’ Document end-user interactions into the automated call logging tools for tracking and productivity purposes.
β’ Validate proposed technical approaches to system or application problem logs and make recommendations for mediation to management.
HANDS-ON Experience for the following:
β’ Databricks β Pyspark, Data Quality Framework, Building custom dashboards
β’ R/SparklyR - as a data analyst
β’ Pyspark/Python βwith scripting and automation, performance tuning and debug capabilities
β’ Starburst - as a data analyst or Starburst developer or support engineer
β’ Collibra - as a Collibra developer or support engineer
β’ Alteryx β as a developer or support engineer
β’ Tableau β as a developer with performance tuning / debug capabilities
β’ Immuta β As a security analyst.
