Role description
Data Insights Analyst
Rate: Up to £500 day Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Duration: Initial 6 month contract - possible long term extension
Location: Gloucestershire (hybrid working) PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU ARE ABLE TO BE IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE 2 TIMES PER WEEK
This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional, with experience in SQL and Snowflake, who enjoys stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and working at the intersection of business and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage with business stakeholders to identify and understand objectives from a business, data, and analytics perspective.
• Translate business requirements into clear, well-defined insight and data solutions.
• Write advanced SQL queries in Snowflake to deliver business requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams during analysis and delivery phases.
• Be accountable for the quality, consistency, and clarity of insight definitions.
• Document requirements and solutions in line with best practice standards.
• Support prioritisation decisions based on feasibility, impact, and business value.
Key Experience
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst within financial services.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake is essential.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R.
• A strong focus on accuracy, consistency, integrity, and value creation.
• excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
