Role description
Data Insights Analyst
Contract - 6 months
Theale/Home β 3 days a week in the office, 2 from home
Weβre looking for a Data Insights Analyst to turn data into meaningful commercial and operational insight.
Youβll be responsible for gathering and analysing data from multiple sources to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, optimise resources and drive commercial performance.
This is a role for someone who can go beyond reporting β using data to understand what is happening, why it is happening, what it means financially, and what the business should do next.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Gather, integrate and validate data from multiple systems and sources to create reliable datasets.
β’ Analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, waste and opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement.
β’ Quantify the financial and operational impact of identified opportunities.
β’ Identify resource inefficiencies and recommend practical actions to improve performance.
β’ Develop clear, insight-led reports, dashboards and visualisations to support business decision-making.
β’ Work closely with stakeholders to understand processes, challenges and improvement opportunities.
β’ Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Support the implementation of process and system improvements driven by data insights.
What Weβre Looking For
Weβre looking for an analytical and commercially minded individual who can combine strong data analysis with practical business thinking.
Youβll need to be comfortable working with multiple data sources, identifying patterns and opportunities, communicating findings clearly, and turning analysis into measurable business improvements.
If you enjoy asking βwhat does the data tell us, why does it matter, and what should we do about it?β, this could be an excellent opportunity.
