Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Data Lead on behalf of our client in Atlanta, GA. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data professional to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale enterprise data platform. We are seeking a hands-on technical leader who can drive execution, provide architectural guidance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing data solutions.
This role is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in modern data engineering, analytics platforms, and enterprise-scale implementations who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end delivery, coordination, and execution of enterprise data platform initiatives
• Provide strong technical leadership across data engineering, architecture, and analytics workstreams
• Manage and mentor cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, business analysts, and QA professionals
• Drive platform optimization efforts, including refactoring, cleanup, maintenance, and performance improvements
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project execution
• Ensure delivery excellence while maintaining technical quality and scalability standards
• Support the ongoing evolution of enterprise data architecture and analytics capabilities
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or enterprise data delivery roles
• Proven success leading large-scale data platform implementations from concept through execution
• Strong hands-on technical expertise in Spark, Scala, and SQL
• Deep experience with Azure Synapse; exposure to Microsoft Fabric is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of metadata-driven architecture and data warehousing principles
• Ability to independently lead technical teams and drive execution with minimal oversight
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
