Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Management Analyst 4 - Data Defect Remediation to join their team. As a Data Management Analyst, you will be part of the Commercial Banking and Lending Data Defect Management Team supporting critical data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
• Successfully lead discovery and solutioning meetings with leaders from various lines of businesses to understand data quality defects.
• Act as a risk manager for the CBL Data Domain by ensuring proper controls are documented in the defect management tool.
• Ensure compliance with Data Management Policies and Procedures and document all aspects of data defects accurately and timely.
• Review and research complex potential data defects, following through on reporting, escalation, and resolution.
• Collaborate and consult with colleagues and internal partners regarding risk management and control assessment.
What's Needed?
• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of data governance, risk management, or data defect management experience.
• Ability to pull data from authorized sources using SQL and PowerBI skills.
• Experience with analyzing data quality defects and performing root cause analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including process documentation and presentation abilities.
