Data Management Analyst

Job Title: Data Governance & Process Mapping Consultant (W2 Contract – Onsite) Location: Matawan, NJ ( On-Site 5 days) Job type: W2 contract ("US citizens and Green Card Holders and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor H1b candidates at this time.”) • Strong experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Management frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM) with ability to define ownership, policies, and controls • Proven expertise in process mapping and data flow documentation using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro • Hands-on experience performing data quality assessments (accuracy, completeness, timeliness) and implementing control frameworks • Ability to analyze end-to-end data lifecycle across multiple systems and identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies • Experience designing and implementing governance models, data standards, and KPI/monitoring frameworks • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience conducting interviews and working with business + technical teams • Ability to create clear deliverables including data inventory, process maps, control assessments, and implementation roadmaps • Experience working in cross-functional environments (IT, operations, business teams) with a consulting or transformation mindset • Basic knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus • Must be comfortable working onsite 5 days/week in Matawan, NJ on a long-term W2 contract engagement A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly rate on W2 for this position is $40-$50 with limited benefits.
