β’ Overview:
We are seeking a Data Management Architect who will support our client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical and analytical expertise, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing Data Management solutions. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance across the organization, while also driving efficiency improvements through automation and process optimization.
Duties
β’ Design and implement scalable DM solutions, including data modeling, data quality, governance, and integration strategies.
β’ Lead the definition and implementation of DM architecture principles and design patterns for various styles, ensuring smooth data publishing and subscribing for applications.
β’ Utilize programming languages (Python, R, SQL) for data manipulation, analysis, and process automation.
β’ Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Informatica.
β’ Build and deploy DM solutions and integrations on cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
β’ Analyze existing DM architectures and develop roadmaps for optimization.
β’ Research emerging DM trends and refine technology strategy.
β’ Act as a business analyst, gathering requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, and preparing documentation.
β’ Identify automation opportunities in data conversion and integration processes to improve efficiency.
β’ Ensure adherence to data governance policies and security measures.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and resolve issues.
Mandatory Qualifications
β’ Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
β’ Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as an Architect.
β’ 4-7 years in data management architecture, data modeling, governance, and data quality.
β’ 4-7 years proficiency in reporting, visualization, dashboarding, data warehousing and analytics.
β’ 4-7 years of experience with building and deploying solutions on AWS and GCP, including relevant cloud services.
β’ 4-7 years of experience with building data warehouses, reporting, and analytics.
β’ 2-3 years of experience in Python, SQL, API and Webservices for data integration.
β’ 2-3 years of experience in conducting fit-gap analysis, document requirements, and facilitate workshops.
β’ 2-3 years of experience identifying and implementing automation for process improvement.
β’ 3-5 years of experience working in a federal or state government setting.
