Role description
IntePros is searching for a Data Management Specialist with our Financial Services client in Pittsburgh, PA! This will be a 4-day per week on-site position. As a Data Management & Quantitative Analysis Specialist, youβll play a pivotal role in maintaining data integrity, supporting high-stakes issue remediation, and empowering business decision-making.
What Youβll Do
Lead Issue Triage & Remediation:
β’ Review, analyze, and validate data quality issuesβautogenerated or self-identified. Coordinate with subject matter experts to assess root causes, evaluate downstream impact, and support remediation.
Governance & Oversight:
β’ Ensure all issues in the issue management workflow tool (e.g., ServiceNow) are accurately documented, tracked, and escalated when necessary. Provide oversight to maintain integrity and consistency.
Collaborative Problem-Solving:
β’ Partner with SMEs and business/tech stakeholders to push high-priority data issues to resolution.
Reporting & Metrics:
β’ Monitor and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and change requests. Regularly prepare presentations and meeting documentation for working groups such as Cross Data Issue forums.
Process & Tool Enhancement:
β’ Assist with gathering business requirements, testing enhancements (UAT), and delivering training for the issue management workflow tool.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
β’ Keep internal content organized across SharePoint, Confluence, and shared drives. Deliver engaging user training sessions on processes and tools.
Adapt & Thrive:
β’ Excel in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment. Support ad-hoc projects and continuously evolve with changing data governance standards.

β’ Exposure to data governance processes and issue management tools is a big plus.
