Data-Mart (DWH) Solution BI Engineer (PL/SQL, ETL Informatica)

Duration: 6 months initial contract - W2 only + possible extension Need candidates in local to San Jose, CA and/or nearby. Onsite interview required. Note: No C2C/ Corp to Corp More interested in people who have DWH/ Data-mart solutions, ETL developer, SQL database developer background. extremely hands-on (IC). Job Description: • Need a senior candidate 8 to 12 year of experience;- majorly supporting the back end development / Bug Fixes / enhancements for the dashboards for various business teams • Looking for someone in strong SQL expr, heavy in PL/SQL development/ solutions; analytical skills, code in a way modular code used many ways - (need a solutions cater to these requirements dimensions fact and aggregate the data) • Very good in Data warehousing background- creating Data Mart solutions - required good warehousing concepts - solid in the backend side to creating these data solutions / Pipelines. • Create single source /data layers; structures for 1 or 2 tables, exiting data source and how the data is being used/reporting • Create new query to build a dashboard for Business active customers • Do pull requests and deploying code to different environments • ETL field will have a good understanding - More interested in people who have ETL developer, SQL developer, DWH - experience in the area of creating pipeline, creating data warehousing vs dashboards/requirement gathering/business analytics - would consider. • Experience in Dimensional Modeling, Star and Snowflake Schemas design and maintaining dimensions using Slowly Changing Dimensions(SCD) • Tableau should be able to open it up and review it - at least in dash boarding (using tableau-to make changes) • Scripting is a plus like airflow, fronttab but to understand how these scripts work • Working in agile team; less ramp up time should be to collaborate and contribute
