Data Migration Engineer - 100% Remote - C2H

Akkodis is seeking a Data Migration Engineer for a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) role, which is 100% remote. Ideally, the client is looking for applicants with a solid background in Data Migration, AWS, Python, Spark/PySpark, and PLM (PTC FlexPLM, ENOVIA) Rate Range: $75 - $85 per hour. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Overview Client is seeking a Senior Data Migration Engineer to support a large-scale Product Experience Management (PXM) transformation. This role will focus on migrating and standardizing product data across PLM, DAM, and enterprise systems to help build a modern, scalable data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities • Lead data migration efforts from legacy systems into modern platforms • Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to move and transform product data • Perform data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams on data models and standards • Support integration across PLM, DAM, ERP, and eCommerce systems • Monitor and resolve data quality and migration issues • Help define and enforce data governance and best practices Tech Stack • PLM: PTC FlexPLM, ENOVIA (legacy) • Cloud: AWS • Data & Engineering: SQL, Python, Spark/PySpark • ETL Tools: Informatica, Talend, or similar • Enterprise Systems: SAP (ERP), Salesforce Commerce Cloud • Tools: APIs, CI/CD, Jira Qualifications • 5–10+ years in data engineering or data migration • Experience with large-scale data migrations or system transformations • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and ETL pipelines • Experience working with PLM, PXM, MDM, or product data systems • Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based data platforms • Strong understanding of data quality and governance If you are interested in this position, please click APPLY NOW.
