Role description
Data Lead – Supply Chain/Inventory Transformation (Hospitality & F&B Focus – CrunchTime)
Robert Half are supporting a global S&P 500 consulting firm to build out a specialist bench of contractors to support delivery across large-scale transformation programmes focused on hospitality and food & beverage operations, specifically across inventory management, supply chain data, and operational platforms. The engagement sits within complex enterprise environments, with a particular focus on data migration into CrunchTime as part of a UK rollout following successful adoption in the US.
Given the nature of the programme, we are particularly keen to engage individuals with experience across food & beverage, hospitality, multi-site retail or outlet-driven environments, where inventory accuracy, stock movement, and operational data flows are critical. We are looking for experienced delivery-focused profiles who can own end-to-end data workstreams, bridging business operations, supply chain, and technology teams.
Assignment Details
• Day Rate: Likely to be Outside IR35 via LTD company
• Contract: 12–18 months initial contract
• Location: London hybrid working with 2–3 days on site required
• Start: After interview process and onboarding c. 1st–2nd week in April
Key Responsibilities
• Own delivery of the data workstream for a large-scale hospitality supply chain transformation
• Lead end-to-end data migration from legacy inventory / stock management systems into CrunchTime
• Oversee data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation and reconciliation
• Support mock migrations, cutover planning and go-live readiness
• Work closely with integration teams to ensure data flows across POS, ERP and inventory systems are accurate
• Coordinate and manage onshore and offshore data analysts
• Engage with business stakeholders across operations, supply chain and finance to translate requirements into data deliverables
• Establish data governance, controls and documentation across the programme
Key Experience Required
• Experience within hospitality, food & beverage, restaurant chains, or multi-site retail environments as a Data Lead / Data Migration Lead on large transformation programmes
• Strong hands-on delivery across inventory-focused data migration, including stock, product, menu or supply chain datasets
• Exposure to CrunchTime or similar hospitality / inventory platforms (e.g. POS-integrated systems, 3PL or stock management tools)
• Strong understanding of data integration concepts (APIs, batch, interfaces), particularly across operational systems
• Experience managing analysts and offshore teams
• Ability to operate across business operations, supply chain, and technology stakeholders
• Experience working within large-scale, complex programme environments
Interview Process: Initial interview with the consulting firm & follow-up discussions aligned to the programme
Compliance Checks If successful, the final stage of the process will require two recent professional references, financial background checks and criminal record checks.
